About the School

 The school was established because of parents who were frustrated by the lack of educational alternatives.  We began with a staff of 2 teachers, 5 students in grades 3, 6, and 10.   These students needed an educational alternative, that opened the doors for the educational opportunities offerd by our school.   Today our school offers  k-4- 12^th grades.  We  provide a  smaller more individualized with  less distraction setting designed for our children to meet their academic needs.  Our students’ population comprised of a diverse group of children, who comes from different backgrounds with various needs.   Our caring  and loving staff of teachers are experienced to help  our children who have academic challenges, and need a smaller environment to help them succeed in school.   Hundreds of students have attended the school and have graduated, they are now either working, in college, or doing post graduate work.  Our bright and talented students learn best in small classes with structured learning environment using various techniques of instructions.  Every child can learn if given the opportunity and the educational environment conducive for learning.  I quote, “A mind is a terribly thing to waste.”  We are here to serve you, whatever your needs are call us, and let us help you for we are only a phone call away.

Evelyn Mack Academy is fully accredited with the National Independent Private School Association (NIPSA).  The school is approved as a non-public school by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI).  Evelyn Mack Academy offers an array of services.
